1. With the LF door open, place the headlight switch in the PARK position.
2. Observe the instrument panel lights, chime and dome lamp operations.
3. Turn off the lights.

Did the lights and chime operate normally?

Actuate the dome lamp.

Did the dome lamp operate normally?

Test the door open signal circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Test the instrument cluster lights.

Did the instrument cluster lights operate normally?

Go to Step 6

Test the lights on signal circuit for an open. Refer to Flat Wire Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the multifunction alarm. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement .
