Replace the LF speaker with a known good speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement for access.

Did the replacement speaker correct the problem?

Go to Step 15

  1. Disconnect the Radio connector. Refer to Radio Replacement for access.
  2. Test for a short to ground or an open condition in the LF speaker circuit which is cavity A8 and cavity A9 of the radio connector.

Did you find a short to ground or an open condition in the LF speaker circuit?

Go to Step 19

Replace the RF speaker with a known good speaker.

Did the replacement speaker correct the problem?

Go to Step 16

  1. Disconnect the Radio connector. Refer to Radio Replacement for access.
  2. Test for a short to ground or an open condition in the RF speaker circuit which is cavity B11 and cavity B10 of the radio connector.

Did you find a short to ground or an open condition in the RF speaker circuit?

Replace the LR speaker with a known good speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement .

Did the replacement speaker correct the problem?

  1. Disconnect the Radio connector. Refer to Radio Replacement for access.
  2. Test for a short to ground or an open condition in the LR speaker circuit which is cavity B8 and cavity B9 of the radio connector.

Replace the RR speaker with a known good speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement .

Did the replacement speaker correct the problem?

  1. Disconnect the Radio connector. Refer to Radio Replacement for access.
  2. Test for a short to ground or an open condition in the RR speaker circuit which is cavity A11 and cavity A10 of the radio connector.
