Verify that the left turn signal indicator is inoperative.

Is the left turn signal indicator inoperative?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector 1.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the turn signal switch to the LEFT position.
4. Connect a test lamp between terminal 8 and ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in the GRN/RED wire between S262 and the instrument cluster C1, cavity 8. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the BLK wire between the instrument cluster connector C2, cavity 10 and S248. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
