Did you review the Exterior Lights Circuit Description and perform the necessary inspections?

Go to Symptoms - Lighting Systems

Verify that the hazard lamps operate but the turn signal lamps are inoperative.

Are the hazard lamps operative and the turn signal lamps inoperative?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

1. Disconnect connector 216. Refer to Lighting Systems Components .
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Connect a test lamp between terminal 12 and ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in the GRN wire between connector 216 and S247. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement in SIR.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
