2	Operate the blower motor at each speed. Does the blower motor operate at high speed only?	Go to Step 3	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems
3	Ignition switch ON. Blower speed switch OFF. Backprobe the blower motor resistor with a test lamp from cavity 3 to chassis ground. Does the test lamp light?	Go to Step 5	Go to Step 4
4	Repair the open in the PNK wire between the blower motor resistor and S204 (in the harness about 6 inches from the blower motor resistor connector). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Is the repair complete?	Go to Step 6	--
5	Replace the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement . Is the repair complete?	Go to Step 6	--
6	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	System OK	Go to Step 3
