J 26900-1 Combimike Micrometer
Use the J 26900-1 in order to measure the thickness of the rotor (1). Make the measurements at four or more points around the rotor's circumference. Make all measurements the same distance from the edge of the rotor.
Specification
The maximum rotor thickness variation is 0.013 mm (0.0005 in).
A rotor that varies more than specifications can cause pedal pulsation and/or front end vibration during brake applications. Refinish or replace any rotor that does not meet these specifications. Refer to Brake Rotor Refinishing or to Brake Rotor Replacement .
