3.1. | Install the J 37780 between the front axle housing and the left inner angle shaft flange. |
3.2. | Gently tap the left inner shaft away from and out of the housing. |
4.1. | Install the J 26941 into the left inner axle shaft oil seal (1) . |
4.2. | Tighten the thumb screw on the J 26941 in order to ensure that the J 26941 has a firm grasp on the left inner axle shaft oil seal (1). |
4.4. | Gently tap the left inner shaft oil seal (1) out of the front axle housing. |

Important: The right and left axle shaft oil seals (2) are designed to be installed into the front axle housing at different depths. The J 37770 is 2 sided and is stamped with the letters R and L to ensure the correct axle shaft oil seal installation. If either axle shaft seal is incorrectly installed, damage to the seal and/or internal components due to leakage may result.

3.1. | Install the J 26941 into the tight drive axle shaft oil seal (1). |
3.2. | Tighten the thumb screw on the J 26941 in order to ensure that the J 26941 has a firm grasp on the right drive axle shaft oil seal. |
3.4. | Gently tap the right drive axle shaft oil seal (1) out of the front axle housing (2) |

• | Replace the shaft if the surface displays the above conditions. |
