    Object Number: 468013 Size: SH

Important: DO NOT tighten the upper control arm bolts before lowering the vehicle. The weight of the vehicle must be on the tires and wheels before tightening the nuts and bolts. If the vehicle has ABS, the front of the upper control arm must be toward the front of the vehicle.

  1. Install the upper control arm (2) and the bolt to the chassis frame and to the axle housing.
  2. Install the following components to the axle housing:
  3. • The upper control arm
    • The bolt
    • The nut
  4. If the vehicle has ABS, connect the wheel speed sensor harness clamp (1) to the upper control arm (2).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. With the weight of the vehicle on the tires and wheels, tighten the bolts and nuts.
  8. Tighten
Tighten the nuts and bolts to 90 N·m (65.0 lb ft).
