Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1309307 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate
  2. Remove the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
  4. Pull the lock striker out.
  5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1309307 Size: SH
  1. Connect the lock release cable.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the lock striker with the bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear compartment lock striker bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
