Removal Procedure
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Pull the drain cock out of the radiator body.
- Clean or replace the seal and the stem as necessary.
Installation Procedure
- Return the drain cock to the radiator body.
- Use a ¼ inch square drive or a 3/16 inch hex drive in order to close the radiator drain valve.
- Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Lower the vehicle.
