Condition
Some customers may comment that the ABS warning light illuminates during cranking and will remain on until the next ignition cycle. Technicians may also find DTC C0899 set.
Cause
This condition may caused by reduced voltage experienced during vehicle cranking, which causes a low voltage DTC to be set in the ABS system.
Correction
After verifying that vehicle has condition as described above, reprogram the EBCM using SPS. Revised software is available on TIS DVD 2007/ 05, which was distributed to all dealers in early May 2007, and via TIS2Web.
