Specification Change - Deletion of Radiator Shroud

The purpose of this bulletin is to alert all dealerships to the deletion in production of the radiator shroud panel from all 07 model year Lumina and Caprice vehicles.

This specification change was introduced following evaluation which shows that the shroud performs no functional purpose.

The deletion of the shroud panel was effective with the first vehicles built in the 2007 calender year.

Dealerships must not attempt to install shroud panels to vehicles built following this specification change.

Illustrations included in Service Information and Owner literature which show the shroud will be updated in the future to show the engine compartment without the shroud.
