Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 338506 Size: SH
  1. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Remove the belt idler pulley bolt.
  4. Remove the belt idler pulley from the power steering pump mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 338506 Size: SH
  1. Install the belt idler pulley and bolt to the power steering pump mounting bracket.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the idler pulley bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  2. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement .
