Model and Year 1984 CELEBRITY AND MONTE CARLO

The washer system response time on permanent magnet type wipers used on 1984 Celebritys and Monte Carlos may be reduced by installing a check valve, P/N 25504746, in the fluid pick-up hose. To install the check valve, cut the pick-up hose off 2" from the washer pump and insert the valve. Be sure to ob- serve the direction of flow through the valve. The valve will prevent fluid drain back and reduce the washer response time.
