Service VME - Tire Chain Application on Suburban and Tahoe with RPO Z71

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

The 2002 Chevrolet Z71 Suburban and Z71 Tahoe models (RPO 1SL) are equipped with P265/70R17 On-Off Road tires. Tire chains are not recommended for this size and type tire. The Owners Manual, section six, does not make mention of this application.
