DELCO CS SERIES GENERATOR EXCHANGE PROGRAM AND P/N'S

MODEL AND YEAR: SELECT 1987 PASSENGER CARS AND LIGHT DUTY TRUCKS

The Delco CS series generators will be used in a wide variety of models and applications for the 1987 model year. To aid in the analysis of field returned parts, Delco Remy and Chevrolet have instituted an exchange program for the 1987 model year.

When in-dealership diagnosis indicates an internal generator problem, obtain the appropriate replacement generator from GMWDD using the Order Exchange Part Number listed below. Service parts for in-dealership repair of these CS generators will not be available. Properly complete the return tag, which will be supplied with the exchange generator, and attach it to the removed generator. Package the removed generator in the replacement generator box and return to GMWDD for credit; otherwise, a $17.00 core charge will result.

The following is a listing of CS generator applications for the 1987 model year which are included in this exchange program. Unlisted models and/or applications are not included in this exchange proGram, and normal repair procedures apply.
