Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement Utility

1. Raise the head restraint (9) to the full up position.
2. Insert a paper clip or a similar tool into the hole at the forward edge of the head restraint retainer (8).
3. Press in on the tool to release the retainer clips.
4. Lift the head restraint from the retainers.

1. Install the head restraint (9) into the retainers (8).
2. Push the head restraint to the full down position.
3. Pull up in order to ensure that the head restraint is engaged with the head restraint retainers.

Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement Extended CAb

1. Raise the head restraint (17) to the full up position.
2. Insert a paper clip or a similar tool into the hole at the forward edge of the head restraint retainer (16).
3. Press in on the tool in order to release the retainer clips.
4. Lift the head restraint from the retainers.

1. Install the head restraint (17) into the retainers (16).
2. Push the head restraint to the full down position.
3. Pull up in order to ensure that the head restraint is engaged with the head restraint retainers.

Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement Crew Cab

1. Raise the head restraint (3) to the full up position.
2. Insert a paper clip or a similar tool into the hole at the forward edge of the head restraint retainer (4).
3. Press in on the tool in order to release the retainer clips.
4. Lift the head restraint from the retainers.

1. Install the head restraint (3) into the retainers (4).
2. Push the head restraint to the full down position.
3. Pull up in order to ensure that the head restraint is engaged with the head restraint retainers.

Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement Luxury

1. Locate the tabs (1) at the base of the rear seat headrest.



2. Press in on the tabs and lift the headrest up and out of the rear seatback.

1. Locate the headrest guides in the rear seatback.
2. Install the headrest into the rear seatback and press down.
