- Inspect the master cylinder for the following conditions:
| • | Brake fluid leaks around the master cylinder |
| • | Brake fluid leaks are indicated if there is one or more drops of
fluid. A damp condition is not abnormal. |
- Inspect the master cylinder for the following conditions:
| • | Incorrect pushrod length |
- Disassemble the master cylinder if the following conditions exist:
| • | Improper brake pedal travel |
| • | Refer to the instructions enclosed with the service repair kit. |
- Inspect the master cylinder for swollen or elongated primary piston
seal(s).
