Brakes dragging

Adjust the brakes as needed. Refer to Air Drum Brake Adjustment in Air Brakes.

Restricted radiator

Repair the restriction as needed. Refer to Radiator Cleaning .

Incorrect cooling fan

Install the correct fan. Refer to Fan Replacement .

Restricted exhaust

Repair the restriction as necessary. Refer to Restricted Exhaust in Engine Exhaust.

Incorrect thermostat(s)

Install the correct thermostat(s). Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement .

Faulty water pump

Replace the water pump. Refer to Water Pump Replacement .

Low engine oil level

Install engine oil to the proper level. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities in General Information.

Blocked radiator grille

Repair the radiator grille as needed. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.

Missing radiator shroud or baffles

Install the correct radiator shroud or baffles. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

Faulty thermostatic fan

Replace the thermostatic fan clutch. Refer to Fan Replacement .

Faulty cooling fan

Replace the fan. Refer to Fan Replacement .

Faulty engine thermostat(s)

Replace the thermostat(s). Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement .

Plugged cooling system

Flush the coolinbg system. Refer to Flushing .
