Comments may be received that the glove box lock does not lock when the key cylinder is turned to the lock position. To address this condition:
1. Remove lock assembly from glove box door.
2. Remove pawl from back of lock cylinder by removing retainer clip.
3. Bend pawl down approximately 3.0mm as Illustrated.
4. Reinstall pawl and lock cylinder and check for secure lock action by turning lock cylinder with key, and then pulling on door finger area.
