A power sunroof (CF5 option) is available with the following features:

    • A sliding window panel
    • A manually operated sunshade

The power sunroof will operate with the ignition switch in RUN. The power sunroof is electrically operated from a 2 position rocker type switch. The rocker type switch is located in the center of the windshield header area. The sunroof has both manual and express features for operating the sliding glass. The sunroof glass may be moved by switch control to any of the following positions:

    • Express open
    • Fully close
    • Vent

Express Open

To open the power sunroof, press the sunroof switch rearward twice and the glass and sunshade will slide fully open. During this operation the sunroof switch can be pressed in either direction to stop the glass in a desired position.

Fully Close

To close the power sunroof, press and hold the sunroof switch forward until the sunroof motor stops at the fully closed position or until a desired position is reached. To close the sunshade this will have to be manually slid forward.

Vent

This feature can only be done with the sunroof in the fully closed position. To open the power sunroof to vent position, press the sunroof switch rearward once and the glass move to the vent position. From the vent position you can slide the glass in either express open or to the close position.

Stuck Switch Protection

If any vent or slide switch is closed for more than 30 seconds, the sunroof control module considers the switch a stuck switch. In this case, the switch input is ignored by the sunroof control module until the switch is opened or the power is cycled to the module. Under these conditions only, the sunroof is allowed to close from any position. Once the closed position is obtained, no further sunroof operation is allowed until the stuck switch is opened or the power is cycled to the sunroof control module.
