Important: Do not exceed 207 kPa (30 psi) when using the air hose.

You may use an air hose, directed at the suspected leak point, instead of pressurizing the vehicle's interior. Windnoise leak repairs are similar to waterleak repairs. The actual leak repair procedure depends upon the type of seal that you are repairing.

Leaks around the door opening weatherstrip do not always indicate a faulty weatherstrip. A door or door window adjustment may resolve the condition.

  1. Mark off the pressure relief valve(s).
  2. Turn on the vehicle's ventilation fan.
  3. Close all the windows and doors.
  4. Apply a soapy solution to the potential leak areas.
  5. Inspect for bubbles. The bubbles indicate escaping air.
