Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch Replacement Chevrolet

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System
2. Remove the trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement
3. Remove instrument panel trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Press tabs (1) to remove switch (2) from bezel.

1. Install the switch  (2) to the bezel.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
4. Install the trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System

Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch Replacement Pontiac

1. Using a flat-bladed tool, gently pry dimmer switch from the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect electrical connectors.
3. Remove the switch.
4. Twist the bulb and socket assembly to remove, if applicable.

1. Install the switch to the bezel.
2. Install the bulb and socket assembly, if applicable.
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
