Inspect the cassette tape player for an obstruction, through the cassette door.

Is there an obstruction?

1. Carefully remove the obstruction.
2. Inspect and clean the following components:

•	The moving parts.

•	The cassette head.

3. You may use a cleaning cassette.
4. Play a known good tape.

Is the symptom still present?
