Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 165306 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left sound insulator panel.
  2. Disconnect the pushrod (10) from the brake pedal .
  3. Disconnect the accelerator cable.

    4. Object Number: 188320 Size: SH
  4. Remove the brake pedal assembly nuts (2) and the brake pedal assembly (1).

    5. Object Number: 165309 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the folowing electrical connections:
    6. • The cruise control switch (3), if equipped.
    • The brake switch (4)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 165309 Size: SH
  1. Connect the following electrical connections:
    2. • The cruise control switch (3), if equipped.
    • The brake switch (4)

    Object Number: 188320 Size: SH
  2. Install the brake pedal assembly (1).
  3. Install the brake pedal assembly nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the brake pedal assembly nuts to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).


    Object Number: 165306 Size: SH
  4. Connect the accelerator cable.
  5. Connect the pushrod (10) to the brake pedal.
  6. Install the left sound insulator panel.
