DEFINITION: The engine continues to run after the ignition is turned OFF, but runs very rough. If the engine runs smooth, check the ignition switch and adjustment.

Fuel System

Check the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test .

Additional Checks

Check for a short between B+ and any of the ignition feed circuits. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems.
