SUN VISOR LOOSE/WILL NOT HOLD POSITION (INSTALL SLEEVE)

Model and Year: 1986-88 CAPRICE

Owner comments on Caprice sun visors that are loose and will not hold position can be addressed by replacing the sleeve with a new thicker sleeve, P/N 17927383.

1. Loosen tensioning screw and remove sunshade from support.

2. Extract clear plastic sleeve from sunshade using needle nose pliers and replace with new sleeve (black plastic), P/N 17927383.

3. Check rod on support assembly to be sure it does not turn within the support. If rod turns replace support assembly.

4. Reinstall sunshade and check for proper operation.
