Model and Year: 1986-88 CAPRICE CLASSIC WITH 5.0L AND 5.7L (VIN CODE H AND 6) ENGINES

Some 1986 through 1988 Caprice Classic vehicles with 5.0L (VIN Code H) 5.7L (VIN Code 6) engines and C60 air conditioning may exhibit a moan and/or vibration when the air conditioning is engaged.

This condition may be addressed by the installation of an inertia ring kit on the A/C compressor. The kit part number is 2724034.
