J 25070 Heat Gun

1. Mark the position of the molding with a length of masking tape.
2. Heat the molding using the J 25070 . Apply heat using a circular motion for about 30 seconds.

Notice: Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to prevent paint damage when removing an emblem/name plate.

3. Remove the molding from the door using a plastic flat-bladed tool.
4. Wash the area with soapy water and wipe dry.
5. Remove all traces of adhesive from the door using a oil-free naptha or alcohol.

Important: Do not touch the adhesive backing on the molding.

1. Remove the backing from the molding.
2. Measure 5.0-7.0 mm (0.2-0.28 in) from the front edge of the door (2) to the front edge of the molding.
3. Align the molding to the tape guideline and press firmly in place.
