DELAYED 1-2 SHIFT AT FULL- THROTTLE 86 F-BODY W/700R4

Model and Year 1986 CAMARO MODELS WITH 700-R4 TRANSMISSION AND 5.OL MPFI ENGINE

Some 1986 Camaro models equipped with 5.OL MPFI engines and THM 700-R4 transmissions may experience late 1-2 shifts under full throttle acceleration.

A service package has been developed to repair 1986 YZM or YWM model THM 700-R4 transmissions that exhibit this condition. Changes were made in production beginning June 19, 1986, (Julian date 170, Figure 1).
