Was the Radio/Audio System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the radio connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Provide enough ambient light in order to simulate daytime.
  4. Connect a test lamp from CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) at the radio connector cavity F5 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the body control module (BCM) connector C2.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the BCM connector C2 cavity A12 and the radio connector cavity F5.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

  1. Remove the radio.
  2. Repair or replace the radio as needed.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair open in CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) between the radio and the body control module (BCM).
