Attempt to duplicate the condition on a good surface.

Does the compact disc player operate correctly?

Service the radio.

Is the repair complete?

1. Inspect for the following conditions.

•	The disc is inserted upside down.

•	The disc is badly scratched or wet.

•	Moisture has condensed on the disc.

2. Correct the conditions as necessary. Allow up to an hour in order to evaporate any condensation.
