Removal Procedure
- Remove the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Remove the bolts retaining the headlamp washer container to the impact bar.
- Disconnect the washer hose from the headlamp washer container.
- Remove the headlamp washer container from the impact bar.
- Remove the washer fluid from the container.
Installation Procedure
- Install the headlamp washer container to the impact bar.
- Connect the hose to the headlamp washer container.
- Install the bolt retaining the headlamp washer container to the impact bar.
- Install the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Refill the washer fluid to the headlamp washer container.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the headlamp washer container bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb in).
