Go to Diagnostic Starting Point

1. Disconnect the radio.
2. Place the headlamp switch in PARK.
3. Turn the parade switch (first detent) ON.
4. Connect a test lamp from CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) at the radio to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
2. Send the radio in for repair.

Repair the open in CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) between the radio connector and the headlamp and the panel dimmer switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
