The programmable universal home link 3-channel garage door opener mounts in the middle of the overhead console. A 12 volt ORN wire tied to CKT 1732 (ORN) powers this integral part of the console, from the (BCM) Body Control Module. A BLK wire tied to CKT 1350 (BLK) provides the ground. A wire tied to CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) provides the illumination. If both the home link and the front dome/reading lamps are inoperative refer to Interior Lights Diagnostics. If the front reading lamps are functional but the home link is not, check the wires within the overhead console from the main harness to the home link unit for damage. If the wires to the home link unit proved to be functional by having power and the ground at the home link connector, refer to the owners manual for directions in order to perform the following functions:

Refer to Garage Door Opener Programming - Universal for transmitter programming assistance.

    • Program
    • Operate
    • Erase the transmitter channels

Replace the home link unit if you still cannot program the transmitter after repeated attempts.
