Removal Procedure
- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement

- Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Remove the front door window. Refer to
Front Side Door Window Replacement
.
- Remove the front door rear view mirror. Refer to
Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement
.
- Remove the channel lower
bolt (4).
- Remove the push-in retainer (2) at the top of the channel.
- Remove the window run channel weather-strip (3) from the front
door window.
Installation Procedure
- Install the run channel
weather-strip (3) to the front door window.
- Install the push-in retainer (2) at the top of the channel.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the channel
lower bolt (4).
Tighten
Tighten the front door window front run channel lower bolt to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Install the front door rear view mirror. Refer to

- Install the front door window. Refer to
Front Side Door Window Replacement
.
- Install the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

- Install the front door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
