Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1174285 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts (1) and retainers attaching the energy absorber (2) to the front impact bar.
  3. Remove the energy absorber (2) from the impact bar.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1174285 Size: SH
  1. Position the energy absorber (2) to the impact bar.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts (1) and retainers that attach the energy absorber (2) to the impact bar and tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
  3. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
