Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
2. Drill out the rivets from the rear bumper fascia heat shield. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Heat Shield Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tighten

Procedure

Remove the center bracket from the heat shield.
