This PI has been revised to include the 2006 model year. Please discard PIC3126.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
No sound from any speakers when using DVD player or XM radio. All other audio sources from radio are normal.
Recommendation/Instructions:
All speakers should operate from any source that is selected from radio. If circuits 372, 368 or 367 are open, from radio to DVD or XM receiver, no speaker operation will be heard. SI Document ID # 1307719 can be used for schematic information. Inspect connector C303 for a possible loose connection. Connector location is shown in SI Document ID # 1277292.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
