Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement LH2

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.6L (LH2).

    4. Object Number: 888270 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
  6. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 888270 Size: SH
  1. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  2. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.6L (LH2).
  4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement LY7

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).

    4. Object Number: 1300041 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
  6. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1300041 Size: SH
  1. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  2. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
  4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
