Disc Player and Video Display (DPVD)

Your vehicle may have the optional disc player and video display (DPVD) system. The DPVD system includes a disc player, a video display screen, 2 sets of wireless headphones, and a remote control.

DPVD is available in a base and an uplevel version. The uplevel version is provided with the Navigation radio, if equipped. The uplevel entertainment system offers the rear seat passengers to have shared control of all of the vehicles audio sources AM, FM, XM (if equipped), weather, CD, TV (if equipped), and front digital video disc (DVD). The disc player power may be turned ON when the ignition is in ON, ACCESSORY, or when retained accessory power (RAP) is active.

The system disc player is only compatible with DVDs with the appropriate region code for the country that the vehicle was sold in. The DVD region code is printed on the jacket of most DVDs. 2. Replace the 2 AA batteries in the compartment. Make sure that they are installed correctly.
  3. Close the battery door securely.

Headphones

The disc player and video display (DPVD) system includes 2 sets of wireless headphones.

Stereo RCA Jacks

The RCA jacks are located on the front of the disc player faceplate. The L jack is for left audio, the R jack is for right audio and the V jack is used for video. The system requires standard RCA cables (not included) to connect your auxiliary device to the RCA jacks. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for proper usage.
