Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the front fascia extensions. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
- Remove the front push-in fasteners that secure the lower air deflector to the fascia.
- Disconnect the fog lamp/ turn signal electrical connectors (1).
- Remove the bolts (1) that secure the bumper fascia to the front fender.
- Remove the push-in retainers (2) across the top side of the fascia.
- Loosen approximately 4 turns, the inner fastener nut (2) securing the fascia to the inner fender.
- Loosen the fascia from the key slots at the inner fender attachments.
- With an assistant, remove the fascia by pulling the fascia forward from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- With an assistant, position the fascia (3) to the vehicle.
- Position the fascia to the key slot at the inner fender.
- Align the stud (2) to the keyhole slot in the fender.
- Push rearward in order to adjust.
- Install the inner fender bolts (1).
- Secure the inner fender nut (2).
- Install the remaining 6 push-in retainers (2) and secure.
- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the fog lamps/turn signal.
- Install the front fascia extensions. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
- Install the lower air deflector to fascia push-in retainers.
- Lower the vehicle.
Install 2 push-in retainers (2) in order to hold the fascia to the upper tie bar.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (27 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 9 N·m (27 lb in).
