Removal Procedure

    Important: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

  1. Remove the right body side trim. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1210910 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fasteners securing the digital radio receiver.

    3. Object Number: 1211148 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the receiver.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1211148 Size: SH
  1. Connect the receiver electrical connectors.

    2. Object Number: 1210910 Size: SH
  2. Locate the receiver to the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the fasteners securing the receiver to the vehicle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the right body side trim. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
