DTC U0101 Set In The EBCM - keywords ABS brake code

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
You may notice during Pre Delivery Inspection or when performing normal diagnostics, the EBCM has code U0101 set for each ignition cycle. There will be no ABS messages or lights and the performance of the ABS system is not impacted. The EBCM will set a U0101 each ignition cycle due to a missing message from the Transmission Control Module.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Reprogram the VSES (EBCM) module using TIS version 4.5 or later released 4-17-06. Please do not replace the EBCM or TCM to resolve this concern.
Note: If a current code U0101 is set in the EBCM and there is no communication with the Transmission Control Module, please follow normal diagnostics in SI.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
