The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The Air Bag indicator (Readiness Light) is illuminated after programming the Sensing Diagnostic Module (SDM). DTC B1000 00: Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is stored in the SDM.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Contact Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) at 1-800-828-6860 English or 1-800-503-3222 French to obtain a VCI number to program the SDM.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
