Rear Window Lowers By Itself - keywords connector corrosion door harness water wiring

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer concern of a rear window that lowers by itself may be caused by water intrusion into a front door pass-through connector. For a compliant of the left rear window that lowers by itself, inspect connector C300 at the left front door pass-through. For complaints that the right rear window lowers by itself, inspect connector C301 at the right front door pass-through.

If corrosion is found in the connector, replace the affected front door harness and clean the terminals on the body side of the connector.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
