Unable to Eject the Map DVD - keywords disc map nav navigation radio U3R

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Accessing the Navigation Radio Map DVD on the 2006 Cadillac DTS is performed differently than other GM vehicles.

The map DVD is accessed by pressing the "MENU" hard key and then using the touch screen, touch the "NAV" icon followed by the "Map Database Information" icon and then the "Change" icon.

This information can also be found on page 2-29 of the Owners Manual or eSI document # 1529572.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
