The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The technician is unable to locate the ESC module on vehicles with FE1 Suspension.
Recommendation/Instructions:
eSI does not show the location of the Electronic Suspension Control (ESC) Module for vehicles equipped with Soft Ride (RPO FE1) suspension. The ESC module shown in Document ID # 1657408 is only for vehicles with Magnaride suspension (RPO F55). The ESC module for FE1 vehicles is part of the left rear suspension height sensor shown in Document ID # 1657403 and is located in the left rear wheel well.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
