WATER LEAK AT VISTA VENT IMPROVE SEALING OF VISTA VENT

MODELS AFFECTED: 1982 THROUGH 1986 CIMARRONS WITH VISTA-VENT OPTION (AD3)

Some 1982 through 1986 Cimarrons equipped with a vista-vent may experience a water leak condition between the vista-vent glass and weatherstrip. This condition may be caused by weak hinges. To correct this condition, replace both hinges with new hardened steel hinge (P/N 20696950).

Any sunroof glass in stock with old style hinges should have the new hinges installed before it is placed in service.

For warranty purposes, use Labor Operation B2227 at .3 hours.
