- Select BODY CONTROL MODULE.
- Select INPUTS.
- Select DOOR JAMB SW.
- Close all the doors.
Does the scan tool display OFF?

- Check the door jamb switch for possible intermittent malfunction
by monitoring the scan tool while opening and closing each door several times.
- If OK, check the wiring for a possible short to ground.
Was a problem found with any of the above?

- Disconnect the Body Control Module (BCM) connector C1.
- Using the DMM, connect the DMM from terminal B02 to a known good
ground.
- Open drivers door and remove jamb switch.
- Measure the resistance.
Is the resistance reading within the specified value?

- Make sure the rear compartment lid is closed.
Does the scan tool display OFF?

by monitoring the scan tool while opening and closing the rear compartment
lid several times.
- If OK, Check the wiring for an intermittent short to ground.
